My Curriculum Vitae

I was born in 1966 in Turkey. Some notable stages can be summarised in my education and working life as follows. After graduating from Technical High School's 'Automotive Department' in 1983, I enrolled to Gazi University Mechanical Education of the Automotive Departments in Ankara and graduation was completed in 1988 and awarded BSc degree with 77.64. 

 

I became a teacher at an Education Ministry-founded Technical and Vocational High School in 1988 in Malatya and worked 3 years. After 3 years, 1 passed to exam and started to MSc course in the same university, which was graduated. All the modules passed within the average of 77.16 mark over 100. After then 1 was appointed to Zonguldak Karaelmas University Karabuk Technical Education Faculty as a research assistant upon passing a nation-wide exam prepared by Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK) in 1993. The people who passed this exam have also been entitled to study in abroad for their postgraduate education. I preferred to study in the UK and came here in January 1994.

 

I went to English Language course for 6 months at Henley College before starting to my MSc course at the Coventry University. The MSc course in "Automotive Engineering Design & Manufacture" is due to end in September 1995. At the moment 1 have awarded the MSc. with merit degree. As for the research interests that 1 would like to study automotive aspects of any design systems, especially with CAD/CAM, ADAMS or any computer based subjects would be the main areas. I started my PhD degree in January 1996 under the supervision of the Dr. Mike Blundell. Research subject was getting very exciting when I was learn more about ADAMS simulation program. Nowadays I am going to writing up my thesis. Hopefully it will be finished end of June 1999.
